Vocalix — Voice Commerce

## Overview Vocalix wanted to bring a premium shopping experience to Alexa-enabled devices and smart displays. We designed and built a full Alexa Skill with natural language product discovery, cart management, order tracking, and voice-driven checkout — integrated directly with their existing e-commerce backend. ## Technical Highlights - Custom NLU model trained on 50 k+ product-discovery utterances - Visual card responses for Echo Show / Fire TV - One-click voice checkout with address and payment recall - Real-time order status via proactive Alexa notifications - A/B tested four conversation flows to optimise conversion ## Results - 22 % of returning customers now use voice as their primary shopping interface - Cart abandonment on voice channel: 18 % (vs 65 % on web) - Alexa Skill rating: 4.6 ★
